NHS-Funded Eye Tests
A home eye test is free on the NHS if you are unable to leave home unaccompanied because of illness or disability and you are entitled to an NHS sight test — for example:
- Over 60?
- Diabetes or glaucoma?
- Registered partially sighted?
- On certain benefits?
If you are entitled to a sight test but could get to a practice, a home visit is £60. We check all of this with you when you book.
